This Privacy Policy explains how BizMentor Ltd (“BizMentor”, “we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data when you visit bizmentor.uk and its sub-domains (including start.bizmentor.uk and scale.bizmentor.uk), apply for our mentorship program, book a call or contact us.

What data we collect
- Information you give us – your name, email address, phone number, business name, trade, turnover range and answers you provide in our application forms, surveys and on calls.
- Communications – messages you send us by email, WhatsApp, SMS, social media or phone, and notes from calls with our team.
- Usage data – pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location, referring website and how you interact with our pages, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy).
- Payment information – if you buy a program, payments are processed by our payment providers; we do not store full card details.
How we use your data and our lawful basis
- To respond to your enquiry, assess your application and book and hold calls with you – steps prior to entering a contract / legitimate interests.
- To deliver the mentorship program you have purchased – performance of a contract.
- To send you follow-up messages, reminders and relevant content by email, SMS or WhatsApp – legitimate interests or consent where required. You can opt out at any time.
- To measure and improve our website and advertising – consent (for non-essential cookies) or legitimate interests.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations – legal obligation.
Who we share data with
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run our business, under contracts that require them to protect it. These include our CRM and booking platform (HighLevel), website hosting, email and messaging providers (including WhatsApp), video hosting (Wistia), analytics and advertising providers (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Microsoft Clarity, Meta), and our payment, accounting and professional advisers. We do not sell your personal data.
International transfers
Some of our providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep data
We keep enquiry and application data for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, and client records for up to 6 years after the end of the program for legal and accounting purposes. We then delete or anonymise it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing (including direct marketing), to data portability and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any right, email team@bizmentor.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including access controls and encrypted connections (HTTPS).
